I was really excited to see Link in something else other than the traditional green tunic and hat. Everyone seems to call him cowboy link..I dont see why. He lives in a village, and when i think of the term 'cowboy' think of the wild west.

This costume took much longer than I thought it would. Just looking at the design, it doesnt look difficult, but I tried to make it as authentic as possible using fabrics that would be suited for village/farm living. I used to live on a farm, so I know what would be stong enough and not tear after the first work is done. But I stayed accurate to the actual artwork and game, All the colors are accurate too. The apron peice was the hardest..this was my first time quilting anything. The sandals from scratch, and the pants turned out great. The hand embroidery on the tunic took a while to complete. I lined everything, which is why it took twice as long to finish. There are a couple small things that will be fixed up, but overall. I really love this costume.
Its very comfortable, but its so many layers.

This picture is very calm, and I love the layout very much. The only thing I dont like is that you cant see the details much, especially on the apron piece. Gosh I love that apron!
